Feet Friday

I know, Feet aren't the nicest of things in the world and sometimes can be neglected. Do you ever moisturise all of your body and miss your feet? Well now's the time to give them a bit of TLC, It's Friday after all, Go on give yourself a pamper. At the end of a long, stressful day, I love to get into a hot, deep bath and have a soak with nice smelling products and candles scattered everywhere.  I then love getting into my warm onesie after moistering and putting quirky PJs on. A build up of dead skin cells or dry heels are common on the feet so I like to use a pumis stone to make them feel smooth. I then apply  nail varnish and a top coat. I'm not allowed to wear nail varnish at work or college so I love it when I can wear them on my toes. I'm not the best at painting but I have so many different colours and never have the chance to paint my nails so I love nights where I can pamper myself. I love using the 'Nailwear Pro' from Avon as they are fast drying, long lasting and the colours are really bright and lovely. I also like using the Seche top coat as it it fast drying (I'm very lazy as you can tell and hate waiting for nail paints to dry.) After waiting for my nails to dry, I apply the 'Heel Genius' foot cream from Soap and Glory and then put some nice warm fluffy socks on. I let the cream soak into my feet and when taking my socks off, they are soOoOo smooth!! I then have some food or watch Netflix and just try and forget the stresses of the week as much as possible!

What do you do on on pamper nights?

Indeed labs Hydraluron moisture boost review

Hydraluron by Indeed Labs has been constantly raved about for a long time for its effects to the skin. Drier skins will probably benefit from the serum as it will hydrate the skin but any skin types can use this. The silky texture of the gel/serum has a really lovely feeling to the skin and feels very soothing. I have combination skin myself, and in some areas can feel very rough and dehydrated. I love using this in the morning before using my moisteriser and at night when I want a bit of extra hydration. When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels more plump and not as sluggish as it normally seems to look. It is a very lightweight product so even if you have ten different products on your face, this one won't feel heavy. You can use the serum morning and night before moisterising for extra smoothness. I keep repurchasing Hydraluron from Boots, sometimes they have offers which is great and you can also get your Boots Points!

'Clinical trials with hyaluronic acid, applied twice a day for 8 weeks showed an increase of skin's elasticity by 27% and a reduction of skin roughness by 10%.'

Avène Cleanance soap free cleanser

I've put all of my other cleansers aside and have been constantly using the Avène soap free cleanser. And after a few weeks of using the cleanser I have seen a change in my skin. As I have said before in previous posts, Acne and spots are a big deal. Having bad/blemished skin can really effect your mood and can also make you feel very unconfident. I have spent so much money on different products to get clear skin, and even though it's still not as clear as I would want it to be, It is improving slowly. I'm enjoying testing out different products and how they feel on my skin.

I do feel that because I don't have extremely oily skin, this product does have a drying effect but I just apply hydrating products after use. Because of the anti acne ingredients it has helped with  the amount of blemishes/redness, and when applied to the skin it feels quite soothing and as it is soap-free doesn't feel like it is stripping the skin. You can also use this on the body which is great because you don't have to buy a thousand different products. The product can be bought in many places, I have seen it in Boots, Feel Unique, Sk:n Clinics, Lloyds Pharmacy and Amazon.

What is your favourite products to help with spots/blemishes/acne?

Avène hydrance moisteriser light

I'm sorry, I just can't stop buying skincare products and then reviewing them. My bathroom cupboard is nearly breaking at the hinges because I love taking care of my skin. (Lol. Maybe not that much but it sounded good, right?) I Like taking care of my skin, because as I have got older, my skin has broke out a lot. I suffered with really bad acne a while ago and it really got my confidence and self-esteem low. My acne has cleared up, I still have a lot of spots but no where near as many as before and I also have a lot of spot scarring. Over the years, I have been trying to find the best products to help clear my skin. I have tried changing my diet and drinking lots  of fluids too which is helping a lot. I'll go into detail about some other really good products I think everyone should invest in another time but for now, It's this Avène Hydrance moisteriser. The brand has two types of this Hydrance moisteriser, Rich hydrating cream and light hydrating cream. I went for the light cream as I have combination skin, But the rich cream is great for dry/dehydrated skins. Obviously for me, most of the products go down to smell, this moisteriser does have a perfume ingredient in it but it is very mild. Only a slight flowery smell but does smell lovely. I feel that I could possibly need the rich moisteriser for at night or maybe even a night cream but for the day time, I find this lovely, light and doesn't make my makeup go weird after using.

What is your favourite moisteriser?

I'm sure every blogger and their gran has this book now and I don't blame them. This is about Sophia Amoruso, The founder and CEO of Nasty Gal. How she went from hitchhiking and stealing to being one of the most successful women/businesses in the world. I honestly think this is a great read for anyone wanting to be ambitious or just needing a bit more encouragement to reach for their goals in life. After reading this book it really made me want to better my life, to stop feeling miserable and lying in bed when I've had a hard day and start crying whilst watching Netflix eating loads and loads of cheesecake  and actually start living my life. I actually felt like someone was talking to me telling me to work harder and achieve what I want to achieve and I think that was just what I needed to hear. (Well, read.) I bought this from Amazon and it arrived literally the next day and couldn't wait to read it as I had read so many reviews about it.

Have you ever ready #GIRLBOSS? What did you think?
